We climbed to the top of St. Peter’s Basilica cupola dome. Climbing 551 steps through narrow passage ways to the top for this amazing view!
It was a Wednesday, so the Pope hosts mass in the square and there were crowds of people and extra security checks by the Swiss Guard!
We later checked out the pantheon an architectural marvel that still stumps designers today.
